Adelaide is a refined European-American restaurant focused on seasonality, technique, and genuine hospitality. Everything is made in-house — including fresh pasta, bread, sauces, butchery, desserts, and daily preparations. We are looking for cooks who take pride in craftsmanship, consistency, and working at a high level in a fast-paced environment. This position is for a strong, experienced cook capable of leading stations during service and executing at a high standard across all hot line positions. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate service across hot line stations Execute dishes with precision, consistency, cleanliness, and urgency Work all hot stations as needed, including grill, entremetier, pasta, and expo support Cook and rest meats properly to exact temperatures and presentation standards Maintain organized and disciplined mise en place throughout service Uphold strict food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards Assist with training and mentoring junior cooks Support prep production, butchery, pasta production, and daily kitchen operations as needed Communicate clearly and professionally with both BOH and FOH teams Qualifications 2+ years of Lead Line Cook experience in a high-volume fine dining restaurant required Strong meat and fish cooking capabilities required Ability to confidently work all hot stations during service Excellent knife skills and understanding of classic cooking techniques Strong sense of urgency, organization, and attention to detail Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure Professional attitude and strong work ethic Passion for hospitality and continuous improvement What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Opportunity to grow within a serious, chef-driven kitchen Exposure to in-house pasta production, bread baking, butchery, and refined à la carte cooking Collaborative team environment focused on excellence and professionalism Staff meals and dining discounts Adelaide is committed to maintaining a respectful, ambitious, and team-oriented kitchen culture.
