Lead Low Voltage Alarm and Access Technician Dallas, GA 30132 $22

  • Full-time We are a leading low-voltage technology company based in Dallas, GA.
We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality installations and exceptional customer service. We are looking for a highly motivated, self-starting technician to join our team, lead by example, and help train our growing staff. The Role You will be responsible for the installation, programming, and troubleshooting of various low-voltage systems. You must be able to work independently, maintain high-quality work at a fast pace, and present a professional image to our clients.
Required Technical Expertise:
Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in at least one of the following fields, though experience in most/all is strongly preferred:
Access Control:
Installation of door strikes, maglocks, card readers, and panels. Familiarity with programming panels and a firm understanding of relay logic.
CCTV Systems:
Analog, digital over coax, and IP camera systems. Experience installing and aiming cameras, crimping BNC connectors, and installing RJ45 connectors. Basic understanding of IP networks and port forwarding.
Intrusion Security:
Installation of window/door contacts, wireless contacts, motion detectors, keypads, cellular communicators, and panels. Experience programming security systems.
Fire Alarms:
Installation of pull stations, smoke detectors, duct detectors, tampers, and horns/strobes. Familiarity with NAC and SLC circuits.
General Requirements:
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and legal residency. Must pass a background check and maintain a drug-free status. Flexible schedule based on workload (weekend work is infrequent but occasionally necessary). Ability to travel out of town occasionally (less than 10% of the year). Leadership skills with the ability to direct, train, and motivate a team.
Physical & Work Environment Abilities:
Ability to carry, climb, and maneuver safely on ladders. Proficiency in reading building blueprints and using hand/power tools. Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions, including 100+ degree temperatures, attics, and warehouses.
