Lead Maintenance Engineer

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Lead Maintenance Engineer for swing shift to drive excellence in facilities management within our hotel/casino property. Responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of projects, including keeping machines, mechanical equipment or the building structure in repair from conception to completion. Must be able to manage multiple projects at once while ensuring that each one meets its individual goals and objectives. Ability to lead and have some level of authority over other engineers on the team. Responsible for coordinating with other departments to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. Duties Lead and supervise the maintenance team, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Responsible for maintaining and repairing building issues, plus machines and mechanical equipment Must be able to use various hand and power tools as needed Responsible for performing routine preventive maintenance on equipment; inspect and diagnose problems; and correct problems Manage projects related to facilities upgrades or equipment installations, ensuring timely completion within scope and budget. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential issues before they escalate. Responsible for keeping detailed records of work performed Maintain compliance with safety regulations and industry standards while promoting best practices in industrial maintenance. Requirements Proven management experience leading maintenance teams in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in troubleshooting industrial machinery and systems Knowledge of HVAC systems, facilities management principles, and safety protocols. Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate effectively across teams and departments. Demonstrated supervising experience with the ability to lead projects from planning through execution. 2-3 years experience in building maintenance. Experience in a hotel/casino environment a plus Certification in the various trades (i.e., electrical, plumbing, etc) a plus Must be 21+ years of age
