You will lead a skilled team of mechanics, leveraging your expertise in automation and preventative maintenance to maximize operational uptime and manufacturing efficiency. Responsibilities Direct the maintenance engineering team to foster a high-performance culture focused on safety, reliability, and technical excellence. Oversee the lifecycle of manufacturing equipment, from installation and troubleshooting to complex repairs, ensuring seamless production flow. Develop and execute comprehensive preventative maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of critical machinery. Drive process optimization initiatives that reduce waste, enhance product quality, and boost overall manufacturing throughput. Collaborate with cross-functional departments to resolve technical bottlenecks and implement innovative system enhancements. Manage capital improvement projects, including equipment upgrades and facility modifications, from initial planning through final execution. Provide mentorship and technical training to staff, elevating the team's proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems. Champion lean manufacturing practices and integrate new technologies to maintain a competitive edge in production capabilities. Required Skills 5+ years of experience in maintenance or engineering supervision within an industrial or food manufacturing environment. Deep technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and automation systems. Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage complex engineering projects. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering practical, efficient solutions in fast-paced settings. Expertise in lean manufacturing methodologies and continuous improvement processes. Preferred Skills Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering. Proficiency in CAD software and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). Experience with sustainability initiatives and modern food industry safety regulations.
