Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic Lead Mechanical Engineer PE (Professional Engineer) to spearhead our mechanical design and engineering initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will lead complex projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards and fostering innovation across our product lines. Your expertise will drive the development of cutting-edge mechanical systems, ensuring they meet rigorous quality and safety standards while supporting manufacturing efficiency and system reliability. Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and validation of mechanical systems using AutoCAD tools such as Inventor. Oversee project scheduling to ensure timely delivery of engineering milestones and project phases. Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot mechanical issues, implementing corrective actions swiftly. Develop detailed schematics, technical drawings, and system designs aligned with ASME codes & standards. Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams on system design, product configurator, excel base calculations, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), ILogic and CNC machinery. Perform finite element analysis (FEA) and other simulations to optimize mechanical components for durability and performance. Ensure compliance with industry standards and manufacturing best practices. Skills Extensive mechanical engineering knowledge with a focus on system design and mechanical design principles. Proficiency in CAD software including Inventor for drafting and modeling. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including CNC machining and fabrication techniques. Familiarity with ASME codes & standards governing loads, gearing, and mechanical components. Ability to perform root cause analysis on mechanical failures or performance issues. Skilled in project scheduling to coordinate multiple engineering tasks effectively. $95,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
