OK ABOUT THE ROLE
Amrize is recruiting a full-time Lead Mobile Equipment Mechanic within our Operations department. This position will maintain the mobile equipment fleet in a state readiness for our Stringtown, OK divison.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
Performs the appropriate vehicle/mobile equipment inspections and preventative maintenance. Performs required vehicle/mobile equipment repair maintenance. Informs supervisor of vehicle condition that could impact production. Prepares all required daily/weekly plant operating reports. Provides leadership and/or guidance to less experienced mechanics on more complex or heavier assignments. Provides high level of customer service to internal customers. Ensures that the fleet is in good state of repair and is ready for daily production demands. Informs supervisor of equipment conditions which has the possibility of a major downtime. Ensures that safety, compliance and environmental requirements are followed in the yard. Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors. Other duties as needed.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Education:
 High school diploma or equivalent
Additional Education:
Training program from equipment vendors
Field of Study Preferred:
 
N/ARequired Work Experience:
Minimum of five years of experience repairing heavy mobile equipment
Optional Experience:
Ability to prioritize work as well as the ability to provide leadership to employees
Additional Requirements:
Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
