$62 - $72/hr Must have Lead Pharmacist experience Must have Oncology Pharmacy experience Current New York State Pharmacy license and registration required PGY2 Oncology Residency and/or BCOP preferred If no residency/BCOP, must have at least 1 year of chemotherapy regimen preparation/evaluation experience Experience with

USP 797 & USP 800

sterile compounding compliance required

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain employee chemotherapy preparation training records Prepare and maintain oncology/biologic medication policies Optimize workflow with pharmacy and infusion center staff Assist with chemotherapy inventory management and procurement Reduce medication waste and monitor inventory expiration/utilization Review chemotherapy order sheets for: NCCN guideline compliance Vial-size optimization Stability and concentration accuracy Lifetime cumulative dose monitoring Support onboarding of new oncology formulary medications Educate pharmacy and oncology staff on new drugs Coordinate drug-specific alerts and labeling requirements Communicate with providers and nursing staff regarding medication order concerns Assist prior authorization team with insurance coverage verification Provide patient counseling and medication reconciliation when needed

Pay:

$128,960.00 - $149,760.00 per year
