Job Description

Qualifications Required 8-12 years of experience in enterprise IT and cybersecurity, with 5+ years in a senior consulting or technical leadership role. Demonstrated experience serving as a technical SME within a pursuit or sales team, with a track record of contributing to the scoping, pricing, and winning of consulting engagements. Deep technical expertise across cyber resilience domains, including: Cyber recovery architecture: Cyber Vault design and implementation, Secure Isolated Recovery Environments (SIRE), air-gapped recovery infrastructure, and ransomware-resilient vault architectures that satisfy clean-recovery, forensic isolation, and malware-free validation requirements Backup and recovery tooling: hands-on knowledge of enterprise platforms including Veeam, Zerto, Commvault, Rubrik, Cohesity, Dell APEX Protection, Veritas NetBackup, Pure Storage SafeMode Snapshots, and cloud-native backup services (AWS Backup, Azure Recovery Services, Google Cloud Backup and DR) Disaster recovery design: RTO/RPO target definition, recovery strategy selection and trade-off analysis (active-active, active-passive, warm standby, cloud-native failover), DR runbook and playbook development, and failover/failback validation methodology Business continuity: Business Impact Analysis (BIA) facilitation, BC plan development and maintenance lifecycle, crisis management framework design, and BC/DR integration and alignment planning Incident response and cyber recovery integration: cyber recovery playbook development, clean-room recovery procedure design, forensic isolation techniques, and malware-free validation processes required prior to service restoration following a cyber event Cloud resilience architecture: multi-region and multi-cloud HA/DR design patterns across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform; cloud-native backup strategy, cross-cloud dependency mapping, and RTO/RPO design for cloud-hosted and hybrid workloads Working knowledge of resilience and security frameworks and standards, including:

(Contingency Planning) Practical understanding of enterprise infrastructure resilience across key technology domains, including: Network resilience: BGP failover design, SD-WAN high availability, GSLB and DNS resilience (including Infoblox, F5 GTM, Apigee), front-door service continuity, and regional failover routing design Identity and authentication resilience: Active Directory replication and recovery design, Entra ID (Azure AD) HA architecture, privileged access continuity (CyberArk, BeyondTrust), and identity provider DR planning Storage and data protection: snapshot-based recovery architectures, immutable and air-gapped storage design, data replication topologies, and storage-layer RPO modeling across enterprise platforms (Pure Storage, NetApp, Dell EMC, Hitachi) Virtualization and compute: VMware vSphere/vSAN HA and DR design, Nutanix resilience, bare-metal recovery, and hybrid cloud DR orchestration Demonstrated consulting delivery competencies, including: Structured discovery and assessment: ability to design and execute current-state discovery engagements, conduct stakeholder interviews and technical SME sessions, manage complex information-gathering across large organizations, and synthesize findings into clearly structured, actionable outputs Gap analysis and maturity evaluation: experience assessing and communicating resilience maturity across technology, process, governance, and organizational readiness dimensions against recognized frameworks; ability to prioritize findings by business risk and recovery impact Executive communication: ability to translate complex technical findings into clear, concise, board-ready narratives; proven track record presenting to C-suite and board-level audiences with composure and authority; skilled at tailoring message depth and framing to audience Workshop facilitation: skilled in designing and leading executive workshops, cross-functional discovery sessions, program kickoffs, and tabletop exercises; ability to drive alignment and decisions from groups with competing priorities and differing technical backgrounds Roadmap and program planning: ability to develop phased execution roadmaps with initiative prioritization, dependency mapping, ROM estimates, and milestone sequencing aligned to client business constraints, board reporting timelines, and recovery objectives Deliverable excellence: consistent track record of producing client-ready deliverables — including assessments, gap registers, strategic roadmaps, executive briefings, and program plans — that meet professional services quality standards and withstand scrutiny at senior and board levels Stakeholder and engagement management: experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder client engagements; skilled in navigating competing priorities, setting and managing expectations, escalating risks appropriately, and sustaining client trust through ambiguity and difficult situations
Practice Development:
Develop, maintain and enhance service offerings including methodologies, marketing content, deliverable development, and practice capabilities.
Sales and Pipeline Management:
Ability to identify, shape and drive opportunities from initial discussions, proposals, Statement of Work (SOW), fee estimation, level of effort details, margins, leveraged team structures, and closing deals. Preferred Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Advanced certifications aligned to cyber resilience and consulting, such as
CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, TOGAF, CBCP
(Certified Business Continuity Professional), MBCI (Member of the Business Continuity Institute), CCSP, or cloud platform certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP); equivalent industry-recognized credentials considered Experience in security operations, policy development, program development, and/or compliance design. Contributions to thought leadership: white papers, conference presentations, or intellectual property that strengthen practice market presence. Experience designing, facilitating, and reporting on BC/DR tabletop exercises, cyber simulation exercises, and disaster recovery validation tests; ability to translate exercise findings into actionable program improvements Familiarity with regulatory and compliance drivers for resilience, including SEC cyber disclosure rules, EU Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA), HIPAA, NERC CIP, or other industry-specific mandates relevant to target client sectors (financial services, healthcare, retail, critical infrastructure) Want to learn more about Consulting & Security Services? A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $134,800 to $168,500 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Job Summary The Lead Cyber Resilience Consultant is an experienced individual contributor positioned between the Senior Consultant and Principal Consultant. They own key workstreams, act as a primary client interface, and drive delivery excellence across Cyber Resilience engagements. They serve as the domain subject matter expert who provides technical credibility to both delivery and pursuit efforts. Within WWT's pursuit teams, the Lead Consultant partners with account executives, solution architects, and practice leadership to advance qualified opportunities from architecting the solution to papering the SOW. They are equally expected to deepen relationships within existing accounts, identifying expansion opportunities where WWT's capabilities can deliver additional value, while collaborating with solution owners and stakeholders to continuously refine the service offering.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Engagement Delivery & Team Development Lead key workstreams with accountability for delivery quality, timelines, and business outcomes, while elevating practice capabilities and growing talent. Program Leadership & Quality Assurance Lead key portions of Cyber Resilience engagements end-to-end, coordinating resources, managing risks, and ensuring consistent execution. Lead assessment, design, and implementation engagements with documentation of design, system builds, configurations, and support procedures. Oversight & Mentoring Oversee multiple workstreams while actively developing junior consultants through coaching, feedback, and technical guidance. Drive practice maturity through reusable assets, delivery frameworks, methodology enhancements, and thought leadership. Pre-Sales, Solutioning & Client Development Build and grow trusted client relationships while serving as the Cyber Resilience domain expert on WWT's pursuit teams to advance pipeline and revenue growth. Client Relationships & Executive Communication Own client relationships at the working and leadership levels for key engagements, acting as a senior trusted advisor. Translate findings into business-level recommendations and present at C-level; facilitate workshops, steering committees, and executive briefings. Identify and develop expansion opportunities within existing accounts where Cyber Resilience capabilities can deliver additional client value.
Solution Architecture & Pursuit Support Scope:
Serve as the technical SME on pursuit teams, partnering with account and sales teams, driving the scoping of the pursuit.
ROM & Estimation:
Build Rough Order of Magnitude estimates that validate scoping, define effort levels, and establish pricing parameters for client review. Papering (SOW): Develop statements of work that articulate scope, price, deliverables, assumptions, and timelines. Practice Visibility & Growth Support marketing and digital platform initiatives that drive practice visibility and pipeline generation.
