Summary Job Summary:
This is a working production position. The Lead Sterile Processing Technician assists supervisors in the operations within the Sterile Processing Department of the Hospital. The Sterile Processing Lead Technician serves as a resource staff and assure policies and procedures are followed. The Lead serves as a resource for staff and customers regarding sterilization, processing of surgical instruments and surgical inventory/Case Cart management and storage. Participates in the departmental patient safety and performance improvement initiatives.Education Required:
High School Diploma License Required:
Certified Registered Central Service Technician or Certified Board forSterile Processing and Distribution Experience Required:
Three (3) years' experience as Central Sterile Processing Technician upon hire.Call Requirements:
no routine call required except when call coverage cannot be filled due to illness or other circumstances involving regularly scheduled employee, the supervisor then has the option of either enlisting assistance from the remaining call pool or accepting the call assignment.Similar remote jobs
