  • Full-time Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Teacher to inspire and guide young learners in a dynamic educational environment.

The Lead Teacher will serve as a key leader within the classroom, ensuring a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating atmosphere that promotes growth in all areas of childhood development. Duties Develop and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and individual student needs Lead classroom activities that promote literacy, math skills, social-emotional learning, and overall cognitive development Collaborate with families, specialists, and support staff to create individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities or special needs Manage classroom behavior through positive behavior management techniques and behavioral therapy strategies Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor progress and inform instruction Provide mentorship and ongoing professional development opportunities for assistant teachers and interns Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, attendance, and behavioral reports in compliance with educational regulations Skills Proven experience in classroom management and early childhood education settings Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, curriculum development, and literacy education Expertise in working with individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, or other special needs populations Proficiency in speech therapy techniques, behavioral health practices, and behavioral management strategies Ability to develop tailored lesson plans that incorporate Montessori or preschool methodologies when applicable Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with children, families, colleagues, and external specialists Familiarity with IEP processes, standardized testing procedures, and progress reporting tools Experience working in private school environments or early intervention programs is highly desirable Demonstrated ability to mentor team members while fostering a positive learning environment Join us as a Lead Teacher to make a lasting difference in children's lives by nurturing their potential through innovative teaching practices.
