Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Lead Teacher for our Infant, Toddler, and Twos classroom. In this vital role, you will inspire young learners through engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that foster curiosity, independence, and social-emotional growth. As a leader in early childhood education, you will create a warm, nurturing environment where children feel safe to explore and learn. Your expertise in curriculum development, classroom management, and working with children will ensure a positive and enriching experience for every child. Responsibilities Design and implement innovative, developmentally appropriate curricula tailored to infants, toddlers, and twos that promote literacy, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional development Lead daily classroom activities with enthusiasm, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages curiosity and independence Manage classroom routines including diapering, feeding, nap times, and transitions with patience and professionalism Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, developmental milestones, and any concerns effectively Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff to maintain high standards of childcare and education Requirements Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings such as daycare or preschool environments Strong knowledge of childhood development theories and practices specific to infants through twos Demonstrated classroom management skills that promote positive behavior and engagement Ability to plan lessons effectively while adapting to the diverse needs of young learners Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, team members, and community partners Certification in early childhood education or related fields required; additional training in behavior management or child welfare is advantageous Join our vibrant team where your passion for early childhood education makes a lasting impact!
