Job Description

Lead Toddler Teacher - Join Our GOLD-Rated Preschool Team! Kettering/Dayton, OH Are you passionate about working with toddlers and ready to take the lead in a high-quality early childhood program? We are looking for a Lead Toddler Teacher to join our team at a Step Up To Quality (SUTQ) GOLD-rated center that is committed to excellence, structure, and creating a nurturing environment for every child.
What You'll Do:
Lead a toddler classroom with confidence, structure, and care Create and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment Build strong relationships with children, families, and team members Ensure compliance with Ohio licensing and SUTQ standards Complete assessments and documentation (Teaching Strategies GOLD) Foster a positive, consistent routine that supports toddler development
What We're Looking For:
Experience working with toddlers (required) Lead teacher experience preferred CDA, Associate's, or Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education (or related field) preferred Strong classroom management and leadership skills Reliable, professional, and team-oriented Passion for early childhood education and high-quality care Why Join Us? Schedule:
Full-time, Monday-Friday (No weekends—because toddlers are enough excitement Monday through Friday)
