This should be accomplished by carrying out the duties listed below. Job Requirements Must pass a background check. Must have physical ability to lift and carry children throughout the day. (toddlers) Must pass a Health exam stating that one's health does not interfere with the care of children. Must have higher education credits in the area of education. Must have previous experience in an educational setting. Job Duties 1. Manage daily operations of home classroom. 2. Manage classroom activities including lessons, play, breaks and meals. 3. Establish and enforce rules of behavior for children in their classrooms. 4. Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum for assigned children. 5. Provide basic needs and supervision for assigned children. 6. Establish and maintain positive relationships with children and families. 7. Understand and follow all federal, state, and local childcare regulations, and company policies. 8. Attend all staff meetings and other mandated company events. 9. Stay current on required annual trainings and other required certifications. 10. Provide consistency to children and families by maintaining good attendance habits. 11. Assist in other classrooms besides home classroom as needed. 12. Perform effective time management skills by arriving at scheduled times throughout the day. 13. Perform other duties as assigned.
Pay:
$16.00 - $19.00 per hour
