Lead Trainer / Lead Climber

North Woods Industries (NWI) is a fast-growing tree care company serving the Twin Cities and Western Wisconsin. We're looking for a strong Lead Trainer / Lead Climber to help run jobs, train crews, and elevate the level of work in the field. This role is for someone who takes pride in their work, leads by example, and can help develop newer crew members — not just show up and climb. What You'll Do Lead and execute tree removals and pruning (climbing + rigging) Act as the go-to climber for more technical jobs (including crane work) Train and develop crew members on proper techniques and safety Help newer crew members improve efficiency and job flow Work closely with foremen and ops to keep jobs running smoothly Maintain high standards for quality and cleanup What We're Looking For Strong climbing and removal experience (with and without spurs) Confident with rigging, saw work, and equipment Experience with crane work is a big plus Natural leader — leads by example, not just words Takes pride in teaching and helping others get better Shows up, works hard, and keeps things moving Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Overtime available 401K with employer match Medical, dental, vision, life insurance PTO + bonus pay + tips Why This Role Matters We're growing fast and need someone in the field who can raise the level of our crews — both in skill and efficiency. Pay:

$32.00 - $45.00 per hour
