Job Description

Critical Objective:
Run the day-to-day operations of the center, grow center enrollments, and provide exceptional customer service.
Position Summary:
Mathnasium Center Directors lead all aspects of a learning center, combining educational leadership, customer service, sales, operations, and staff management. The role requires a motivated and caring leader who can inspire employees, support student success, drive enrollments and profitability, manage daily administrative tasks, develop staff, and build strong relationships with families, schools, and the local community.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Understand the company's strategic direction, target customer base, and competitive landscape, and translate that insight into effective business growth initiatives. Manage the center's financial performance by achieving revenue goals and controlling labor and operating expenses in alignment with company expectations. Drive enrollment growth by effectively presenting and selling the program in person, over the phone, and through email communication. Represent the center at local marketing events and cultivate strong partnerships with schools, organizations, and the surrounding community. Lead strategic planning efforts by analyzing monthly performance metrics and implementing initiatives to increase sales, strengthen team performance, and improve parent satisfaction. Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop energetic and highly engaged instructors and support staff, while fostering a high-performing, student-focused team culture. Ensure the consistent implementation of the Mathnasium Method™ across all student instruction while maintaining a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment. Conduct student assessments, identify learning gaps, and create individualized learning plans based on each student's mastery level. Build strong relationships with parents by regularly reviewing student progress and communicating program outcomes. Oversee daily center operations to ensure an organized, efficient, and professional learning environment.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience in education, sales, marketing, or customer service; teaching experience or credentials are a plus. Strong customer relationship and sales skills, including rapport building, active listening, needs assessment, objection handling, and closing. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently, accurately, and with urgency. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and staff. Comfortable analyzing reports, preparing correspondence, and using Google Docs and basic PC applications.
Available to work center hours:
Mon-Thu (12:00 PM-7:30 PM) and Saturdays (9:30 AM-1:30 PM), with occasional extended hours as needed and during the summer.

$26.00 - $28.00 per hour
