Job Description

Salisbury School Learning Specialist:
Math, Executive Function Skills Support Salisbury is looking for an innovative instructor for the 2026-27 academic year who thrives in a relational learning environment. We are looking for an individual who is excited to contribute to a supportive and collegial professional environment that is student-centered and caring in their approach to teaching boys. Salisbury School seeks a part-time Learning Specialist with a background in mathematics and executive function skills support for a September 2026 start. Core qualifications include a demonstrated commitment to building productive and meaningful professional relationships with students. The candidate should have a bachelor's degree in education and/or mathematics and be able to demonstrate a growth mindset and an interest in joining a residential community that serves a diverse student body.
Responsibilities include:
Tutoring up to 20 sessions per week in the Rudd Learning Center. This 1:1 support is for students who are enrolled in the Rudd Learning Center to receive individualized, prescriptive support in math and executive function skill development. Tutoring occurs during the academic day during students' free blocks. Blocks vary in length between 45-60 minutes. Faculty meetings, parent communication, and teacher/advisor collaboration as needed to support students effectively. This position is part-time & not benefits-eligible. The salary range is between $45 - $60/ session. Salary placement is based on the candidate's education, experience and all other factors permitted by law.
