Job Description
Position Summary The Leasing Agent supports occupancy growth by helping prospective residents and families explore available patio homes and other living options across both campuses. This position plays a key role in implementing the marketing plan through tours, follow-up communication, relationship-building, community outreach, and assistance with the move-in process. The ideal candidate is organized, personable, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent service to prospective residents and families. Key Responsibilities Support the implementation of the marketing plan for Baptist Village Market patio homes and other available living options, helping secure agreements with new residents Respond promptly to inquiries from prospective residents and families Prepare and send information packets as requested Schedule and conduct tours in all living areas of the campus, including independent living, enhanced living, assisted living, and patio homes Build relationships with prospective residents and families by listening carefully, identifying needs, and helping guide next steps Make timely follow-up calls after tours and maintain ongoing communication with prospects Maintain accurate prospect and contact records in the CRM database Assist prospective residents and families with residency applications, occupancy agreements, and additional move-in paperwork Collect application fees, move-in fees, and prorated first monthly service fees, and communicate with the appropriate internal teams Inspect residences ready for occupancy and coordinate with Resident Services, Environmental Services, and Housekeeping as needed Help facilitate open houses and other events designed to bring prospective residents onto campus Participate in events hosted by community partners and outside organizations Provide tours to larger groups, including church senior adult groups Participate in weekly occupancy strategy meetings Prepare and submit weekly service and occupancy reports and monthly occupancy reports as needed Serve as a back-up for the Resident Services Coordinator/Redbud Receptionist Promote Entrusted Hearts Home Care services when a resident's need is recognized Receive and process 30-day notices to vacate and attempt to address concerns that may have influenced the decision Market in the field to referral sources, including hospitals, case managers, discharge planners, and others as requested Help maintain resident and prospective resident reservation lists Ensure resident administrative files are organized and properly maintained Adhere to BVC Marketing Policies and Procedures Help the campus achieve occupancy goals Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Ability to organize and carry out priorities with minimal instruction Ability to multitask in a fast-paced and demanding environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Strong relationship-building and customer service skills Detail-oriented with strong organizational follow-through Ability to work effectively with residents, families, team members, and referral partners Commitment to the mission, vision, and values of Baptist Village Communities. Working Requirements Office environment within a healthcare facility Must possess adequate sight and hearing, with or without assistive devices, to meet job requirements. Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, and hear. Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, taste, or smell. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
