Leasing Consultant

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing leasing operations, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations. This position requires a strong ability to build relationships with potential tenants while effectively managing administrative tasks related to leasing activities. Duties Assist prospective tenants by providing information about available properties and answering inquiries. Conduct property tours and showcase features to potential renters, highlighting the benefits of living in the community. Manage the application process, including data entry of tenant information and maintaining accurate records. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations throughout the leasing process. Collaborate with the property management team to coordinate lease agreements and renewals. Maintain customer relations through Appfolio systems to track leads and follow up with prospective tenants. Handle legal administrative tasks related to leasing agreements and documentation. Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant concerns and resolving issues promptly. Filing Walk property & vacant units Assist the property manager Update reports on word & excel Skills Proficiency in data entry and maintaining accurate records. Able to use microsoft word Familiarity with real estate administrative tasks and property management software (appfolio) Must be organized Able to Strong understanding of Fair Housing regulations and compliance requirements. Excellent sales skills with the ability to persuade and negotiate effectively. Outstanding customer service skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism in all interactions. Ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues alike.
