Leasing Consultant

Apartment community in Burlington, NJ is seeking a motivated Leasing Consultant to welcome prospective residents into our community and handle the daily tasks involved in leasing. Ideal applicants have a background in sales, marketing and/or customer service. The position is full-time.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintain a professional and welcoming atmosphere in the leasing/management office when dealing with current residents and prospects
• Demonstrate solid leasing skills, maintain high closing ratio
• Understand and follow company guidelines when obtaining, processing, and qualifying applications
• Inspect models and market ready apartments on a regular basis
• Market the community to the surrounding area, maintain awareness of the local market and trends, contribute ideas for marketing the property
• Manage online advertising and social media
• Assist with resident retention through managing resident requests and work orders, renewals, and assisting with resident events

Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service skills; leasing and/or sales experience preferred
• Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to quickly develop rapport with prospective residents
• Must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to work well in a team setting
• Previous knowledge of Entrata property management software and Microsoft office are preferred
• Must be able to work some weekend hours
• Must follow State and Federal Fair Housing laws We are willing to train the right candidate!

Pay:

$19.00 - $22.00 per hour
