To Apply for this Job Click Here Job description A boutique law firm in Coral Gables, FL is searching for a motivated and detail-oriented legal assistant to join our dynamic and growing team. The ideal candidate is organized and enjoys taking on diverse responsibilities. This is an in-office, full-time position, with room for professional growth. Responsibilities File, organize, and manage electronic and hard copy files and documents. Receive and analyze court papers and filings; determine and calendar applicable deadlines. Coordinate and calendar meetings, conference calls, depositions, hearings, and other matters. Manage and direct incoming calls. Prepare hearing, meeting, mediation, and deposition binders and documents. Update internal indexes and other data entry. Manage case files through court programs (e.g., MyFLCourtAccess, CourtMAP, JACS, CMS, PACER, etc.). General administrative tasks, including filing, copying, and handling firm ingoing and outgoing mail. Provide other support to attorneys as needed Qualifications and Skills At least one year of relevant work experience in a litigation practice (exceptions available for candidates with demonstrated work history and transferable skills) Associate degree or higher (exceptions available for candidates with demonstrated work history and transferable skills) Familiarity with Florida Rules of Civil Procedure preferred Organized, detail-oriented, punctual, and professional Proficient in Microsoft office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Proficient in Adobe Strong research skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Eagerness to learn and handle diverse responsibilities Spanish speaker a plus, but not required Compensation & Benefits• Salary commensurate with experience 12 days PTO Paid Holidays Medical Insurance Performance-based annual bonuses and salary review • Benefits available following applicable probationary period(s). 1449924_1778675789 To Apply for this Job Click Here
