JOB SUMMARY

The Registered Nurse, RN is responsible for analyzing medical records for risks/benefits for our legal team. Job responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Diligent and comprehensive review of individual medical records as relates to potential risk Ability to complete a legal review/audit of medical information Participate with Corporate Risk Manager and other key staff members Review resident health records to advise continuity of care in regard to specific issues. •Please note that this Job Summary outlines the general nature and level of work to be performed. QUALIFICATIONS

Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina Successful criminal background check Recent legal nurse consulting and risk management experience required Comprehensive understanding of medical records Able to exercise professional judgment and demonstrate job knowledge in accordance with professional nursing standards and current State and Federal regulations.
