Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Legal Process Server, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and timely delivery of legal documents. This energetic position involves navigating various neighborhoods and courthouses to serve legal papers accurately and efficiently. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help uphold the integrity of legal proceedings, making a meaningful impact in the justice process. Responsibilities Safely and promptly deliver legal documents such as subpoenas, summonses, complaints, and other court-related papers to individuals or organizations. Verify recipient identities and obtain proof of service through affidavits or signed receipts. Maintain detailed records of all served documents, including dates, times, locations, and recipient information. Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and court personnel regarding service status or delivery issues. Utilize courier skills to navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols. File completed affidavits of service with appropriate court offices within required deadlines. Manage multiple deliveries daily with precision, ensuring all legal requirements are met without delay. Qualifications Prior experience as a courier or in a role requiring reliable transportation management is preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle filing and documentation accurately. Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and recipients. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; reliable vehicle is a plus. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain confidentiality.
