Position Summary:
Acuren is currently recruiting for an NDT LevelII UTT/PT/MT ISQ
Certified Technician.Responsibilities:
KEY TASKS & GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
The purpose of the job can be broken down into key tasks, responsibilities and end results. Each end result shows what the job is accountable for, and how the responsibilities are accomplished (What, Why and How). Normally for each end result , approximately 3 major activities should be described. Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results Interpret radiographs, cathode ray tube (CRT) or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicators Organize and report test results Perform specialized inspections May instruct and supervise others Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management Other work duties as assigned.Requirements:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Provide the most important knowledge factors, skills and abilities including knowledge about practical procedures, specialized techniques, etc.; analytical and conceptual skills and abilities; and skills needed for direct interaction with others. Certified Level II - Technical background in NDT methods and procedures ISQ Certification Required Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections Knowledge of NDT equipment Experience in report writingEDUCATION

WORKING CONDITIONS
Describe the working environment in which the job is performed including physical effort to do the job, environmental factors, and level of ongoing concentration and stress. Extreme cold and extreme heat environmental conditions, in and near hazards to include proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places in excess of 100 feet, exposure to high heat, extreme cold, or exposure to chemicals, in conditions that affect the respiratory system or the skin such as fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation. Adaptable to changing schedules with willingness to travel regularly, including last minute and overnight travel. Must be willing to overtime.PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS & DEMANDS
Describe the physical effort needed in order to perform the job, including and level of ongoing concentration and stress. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 75 pounds. Must be able to ascend and descend ladders, scaffolds, stairs and work in confined spaces and in proximity to loud equipment Ability to stand, walk, and climb for extended periods Ability to bend, kneel, and crouch as needed Sufficient balance and mobility to navigate various surfaces and elevations Sufficient hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for operating equipment and handling tools Ability to reach overhead and at various body heights Adequate vision (with or without correction) for detailed work Adequate hearing (with or without aids) to detect audible equipment indicators or alarms Ability to wear and operate required personal protective equipment (PPE)Company Overview:
