Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Acupuncturist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in traditional Chinese medicine and modern clinical practices, with a focus on delivering comprehensive patient care through acupuncture therapy. As a Licensed Acupuncturist, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing personalized treatment plans, and providing effective acupuncture treatments aimed at alleviating pain and promoting overall wellness. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' health while working in a supportive and professional environment. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and review of medical histories, to determine appropriate acupuncture treatments. Develop individualized treatment plans targeting conditions such as acute pain, chronic pain, and musculoskeletal issues. Administer acupuncture sessions utilizing proper aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and comfort. Incorporate trigger point therapy and other complementary techniques to enhance pain management outcomes. Educate patients on their conditions, treatment options, and self-care practices to support ongoing health improvements. Conduct herbal examinations. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment details, and clinical observations in compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care strategies tailored to each patient's needs. Stay current with advancements in acupuncture techniques, physiology knowledge, and medical terminology through ongoing professional development. Represent the clinic at community events on a regular basis, at least once a month Requirements Valid licensure as an Acupuncturist in Wisconsin with proof of certification from the NCCAOM Demonstrated expertise in acute pain management, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques. Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to acupuncture practice. Experience performing patient assessments, physical examinations, and applying aseptic techniques during treatments. Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to patient care and education. Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of professionalism and safety protocols. Prior experience in managing diverse patient cases involving musculoskeletal or chronic pain conditions is preferred.
