  • Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor to join our team.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to helping individuals navigate their mental health challenges and achieve personal growth. This role involves providing therapeutic support through individual and group counseling sessions, while adhering to ethical standards and best practices in the field. Duties Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and develop personalized treatment plans. Provide individual and group counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based practices. Implement behavior management strategies and techniques, including Applied Behavior Analysis, to support client progress. Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure holistic support for clients. Engage in case management activities, including referrals to community resources as needed. Stay informed about current research and advancements in behavioral therapy and addiction counseling. Offer support for clients dealing with addiction issues, incorporating principles of addiction medicine into treatment plans. Facilitate home community care sessions when appropriate, ensuring clients receive support in their natural environments. Skills Proficiency in Applied Behavior Analysis and behavioral therapy techniques. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and ethical guidelines in counseling. Experience in behavior management strategies tailored to individual client needs. Ability to conduct effective individual and group counseling sessions. Knowledge of addiction counseling practices and case management processes. Strong research skills to stay updated on best practices in mental health care. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective client interaction and documentation.
