Were currently seeking a dedicated Licensed Athletic Trainer to join our Sports Medicine Department at Lucas High School.
Position OverviewResponsible for preventing, examining, and treating injuries. Develop effective treatment plans appropriate to the athlete's needs. Give nutritional guidance and recommendations consistent with athlete needs and goals. Order necessary equipment and supplies. Keep up to date records on all patients. Carry out all prescribed treatments and recommendations by the team/program/event or clinical physician as appropriate. Demonstrates the knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the lifespan and possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patients status and interpret the appropriate information.
Must be certified by the Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer Must be licensed by the Ohio OTPTAT Board.
Current BLS certification.

QualificationsRequired:
Must possess a bachelor degree in a health-related field.Must be certified by the Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer Must be licensed by the Ohio OTPTAT Board.
Current BLS certification.
Preferred:
Minimum of one year of experience as a certified Athletic Trainer.
