Job Description Private practice orthopaedic group seeking full-time certified athletic trainer for the position of a second onsite athletic trainer at a local high school. This position would assist the current athletic trainer in providing student-athletes with sports medicine care at established events, practices and daily evaluations. For more information regarding the orthopaedic office and high school, please visit; Orthopaedic Center of Southern Illinois www.orthocenter-si.com or Mount vernon Township High School www.mvths.org Primary Responsibilities Provide sports medicine coverage for all student-athletes during practices and athletic competitions including prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation and medical referrals as necessary. Maintain effective communication with parents regarding the care and treatment of their student athletes. Maitain an effective and efficient athletic training room including the management of supplies and equipment. Maintain daily treatment records and injury/illness documentation. Minimum Qualifications Graduate of an NATABOC accredited school, with a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree Possession of a current Illinois athletic trainer license or willing to acquire Current CPR/AED certification

Pay:

$45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
