Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by providing speech-language pathology support across elementary, middle, and high school settings. This contract opportunity is ideal for a certified and licensed SLP who enjoys working with diverse age groups, including one-on-one student sessions. Located near Rockwell, NC, this role offers the chance to collaborate with dedicated educational teams and support the communication needs of learners in a school environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license ASHA certification or eligibility preferred Experience in school settings with elementary, middle, and high school students Skilled in providing both group and 1:1 therapy sessions Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively with educators, support staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders among students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' needs Deliver therapy to students, including one-on-one and small group interventions across various age groups Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to maximize student progress Maintain accurate records of student progress and meet compliance requirements Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support teams
