Licensed Dental Assistant

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized orthodontic assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing appointments, ensuring efficient operations, and providing excellent patient care. This position requires strong communication skills, an unceasingly positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances under close supervision of the orthodontist Provide exceptional and efficient patient care and ensure patient comfort and satisfaction Join in practice marketing and community events Review patient charts, log appropriate patient data and transcribe doctor notes Educate patients on orthodontic care Clean, sterilize, and prepare the equipment and operatory Adhere to all infection-control policies and protocols Managing and scheduling appointments, answering phone calls and checking in / out patients Setup & monitor treatment plans / coordinate patient care Work as a team player to optimize scheduling efficiency and patient flow Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations Provide support in office management tasks as needed Requirements An active dental assisting license, or plans to obtain one within 6mo A positive attitude as you provide care to patients in the clinic. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
