Licensed Dental Assistant Brian P. Ganley, DMD Family Dentistry Groton, MA 01450 Full-Time | Monday-Friday + One Saturday/Month Competitive hourly wage based on experience About Our Practice Join a thriving, patient-centered dental practice where you'll make a real impact every day. Dr. Ganley leads a small, dedicated team and provides general dental comprehensive care to valued patients in the Groton area. We're a growing general dentistry practice that focuses mainly on bread-and-butter dentistry, including fillings, crown/bridge treatment, scaling and root planings, appliance fabrication, removable prostheses, restoring implants, and extractions. Our goal is to provide high-quality care for our patients in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. 8:00 AM

PM Tuesday:
8:00 AM

PM Wednesday:

Total Clinical Hours:
36 hours per week Consistent schedule with predictable hours and minimal weekend commitment! What You'll Do As our Licensed Dental Assistant, you'll be an integral part of the patient experience and clinical operations:
Clinical Responsibilities:
Chairside assisting for procedures (crowns, bridges, dentures, implants, fillings, etc.) Capture digital radiographs (BWXs, FMX, select PAs) Capture digital scans using our intraoral scanner for crown/bridge cases and appliance fabrication Take traditional impressions when needed (rarely) for prosthetic work Prepare treatment rooms and ensure proper sterilization protocols Manage patient flow efficiently throughout the day Instrument sterilization and maintaining infection control standards Set up and break down rooms for various procedures Provide patient education and post-operative instructions Navigate Dentrix Ascend for charting, imaging, and patient documentation Order supplies for the office and keep track of our supply needs
Practice Support:
Help manage daily operations in a small-team environment Support front office with patient scheduling and flow as needed Maintain inventory and order dental supplies Assist with treatment plan presentations and case acceptance Contribute ideas to enhance patient experience and practice efficiency Wear multiple hats to support practice growth
Patient Care:
Create a welcoming, comfortable environment for patients of all ages Build relationships with patients and families Assist anxious patients with empathy and patience Ensure smooth transitions between treatment phases What Makes You a
Great Fit Required Qualifications:
Active Massachusetts Dental Assistant License (required) Current CPR/BLS certification Radiology certification (Massachusetts required) Strong chairside assisting skills Proficiency with digital radiography Knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols Ability to work full-time, including one Saturday per month Proficient in Dentrix Ascend OR willing to learn our software system Experience with intraoral scanners OR willing to learn digital impression technology
Preferred Experience:
2+ years of dental assisting experience (preferred) Experience with restorative procedures (fillings, crowns, bridges) Experience with prosthodontics (dentures, partials, implants) Familiarity with Dentrix Ascend practice management software (highly preferred) Experience using intraoral scanners for digital impressions (highly preferred but not required—we'll train!) Experience with traditional impression techniques (alginate, PVS) Knowledge of dental insurance and treatment planning Technology in
