Licensed Electrician $35-40/hour Job Description We are seeking a skilled and licensed electrician to join our team in the Junction City, KS area for a day shift position. This role involves performing electrical maintenance, repair, and installation for building equipment and systems, with a focus on 480V and below. Responsibilities Perform all duties necessary for electrical maintenance, repair, and installation of building electrical equipment and systems. Utilize multimeters and electrical diagnostic testing techniques proficiently on all electrical components. Operate and manage work order systems, dispatching, and recording systems effectively, following all procedures for receiving and completing work assignments. Conduct various electrical installations and repairs related to all electrical facilities and equipment in accordance with the National Electric Code (NEC). Execute preventative maintenance tasks such as inspections, cleaning, and adjusting of electrical equipment. Ensure equipment maintenance is conducted safely and efficiently to minimize downtime through proactive testing and scheduled maintenance. Essential Skills Electrical wiring and conduit installation Troubleshooting and electrical maintenance Installation and mechanical skills Proficiency in using hand and power tools in the electrical trade Additional Skills & Qualifications Journeyman Electrician license required High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and practices Ability to read and interpret blueprints and rough drawings Effective oral communication and interpersonal skills Ability to complete projects unsupervised and unassisted Excellent problem-solving skills Attention to detail and multitasking abilities Proficiency in basic mathematics and measurement conversions Why Work Here?
