Job Description

You are applying for a position through Medix, a staffing agency. The actual posting represents a position at one of our clients. Job Summary Our client is seeking a dedicated Licensed Massage Therapist to deliver comprehensive therapeutic services. The role involves providing individualized and group therapy, applying evidence-based approaches, and engaging in community outreach efforts. The therapist will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to monitor client progress and outcomes. Key Responsibilities Deliver individual and group therapy to children and adolescents (up to age 18) Create and manage individualized treatment plans using evidence-based approaches Apply measurement-based care to monitor client progress and outcomes Partner with interdisciplinary team members on care coordination and case consultation Participate in ongoing training, development, and peer collaboration Engage in community-facing initiatives and outreach efforts Provide clinical oversight and mentorship to early-career clinicians, as appropriate Qualifications Active, unrestricted New York clinical license (LCSW, LMHC-D, LMFT-D, or equivalent) Pediatric Therapy experience Must have PMT experience (Parent Management Training) Additional experience with exposure-based interventions and caregiver-focused training approaches is a plus Successful completion of a relevant national licensing exam Clinical experience across a range of presenting concerns (e.g., anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, trauma, behavioral challenges) Interest in working with youth and families strongly preferred Skills Experience in both in-person and telehealth care delivery Bilingual Spanish is a plus Prior supervision experience is beneficial but not required Benefits Paid Sick Leave (Medix provides paid sick leave according to state and local sick leave ordinances). Health Benefits / Dental / Vision (Medix offers 6 different health plans: 3 Major Medical Plans, 2 Fixed Indemnity Plans (Standard and Preferred), and 1 Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) Plan. Eligibility for health benefits is based on verifying that an average of 30 hours per week during the first 4 weeks of the work assignment has been met. If you meet eligibility requirements and take action to enroll, you will be covered no earlier than 60 days into your assignment, depending on plan selection(s)). 401k (Eligible on the first 401k open enrollment date following 6 consecutive months on assignment. 401k Open Enrollment dates are 1/1, 4/1, 7/1, and 10/1).
