Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, along with the ability to provide exceptional therapeutic services to clients. This role requires a commitment to enhancing the overall well-being of clients through various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Assess client conditions and discuss treatment options, ensuring an understanding of their specific pain management needs. Maintain accurate records of client treatments, progress, and any relevant medical history using appropriate medical terminology. Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming environment and addressing client inquiries or concerns promptly. Collaborate with other health professionals within the med spa setting to ensure comprehensive care for clients. Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continually enhance service offerings and personal skills. Experience Proven knowledge in anatomy, physiology, and occupational health is essential for this role. Previous experience in pain management techniques is preferred but not mandatory. Strong customer service skills are required to foster positive relationships with clients. Familiarity with medical terminology will be beneficial in communicating effectively with clients and other healthcare professionals. Experience in a med spa environment is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
