Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)

Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various massage techniques and therapies, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, to provide exceptional care to our clients. This is an 1099 independent contractor position. Pay is based on percentage. Our available days are Thursday & Friday. Our office is a multidisciplinary office, offering chiropractic, physical therapy, and massage therapy. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and tailor massage treatments accordingly. Perform various types of massages, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, focusing on areas of acute pain management. Utilize knowledge of physiology and medical terminology to communicate effectively with clients about their conditions and treatment plans. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients in accordance with health regulations. Provide excellent customer service by ensuring client comfort and satisfaction throughout their visit. Keep accurate records of treatments provided and client progress for ongoing care. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to support comprehensive patient care in a multidisciplinary setting. Requirements Valid state licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist. Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients quickly. Strong communication skills to effectively explain treatment options and address client concerns.
