We're looking for a compassionate, skilled clinician to join our behavioral health team in a school-based setting. We're seeking a Licensed Mental Health Professional to support student mental health in the Fort Dodge School District. In this school-based role, you'll conduct psychosocial assessments, provide individual and group therapy using evidence-based practices, develop treatment plans, and respond to safety concerns. You'll also collaborate with families, school staff, and community partners to help students thrive. Interviews patients, families, and community agencies representatives to obtain a comprehensive mental health evaluation and makes appropriate treatment recommendations Responsible for providing individual, couple, family and group services to meet patient and their family/significant others' social and emotional needs. Provides immediate intervention including supportive counseling to patient/family/significant other in dealing with impact of an emergency situation. Facilitate support groups for behavioral health as needed. Maintains effective communication/working relationships with co-workers, management, physicians and other professionals by communicating in an efficient, professional and courteous manner.

Qualifications Education:

Minimum of a Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited school

Licensure:

Licensed as an LMSW, LISW, LMFT, or PsyD in the

State of Iowa Experience:

A minimum of two years previous counseling experience in Behavioral Health.
