The Administrator is responsible for all resident care regulations and business decisions. Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements
  • Active Nursing Home Administrator license in the State of RI
  • Two (2) years' healthcare management experience preferred, preferably in post-acute care
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
  • Positive, friendly communication style with staff
  • Value being a team member
  • State required health care vaccinations and BCI required

Essential Functions:
  • Thorough knowledge of State, Federal regulations and the survey process
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies and the general public.
  • Manage budgets. Monitor financial reports and implement corrective action as required.
  • Lead, develop and empower department heads who report directly to the Administrator
  • Cultivate an environment focused on providing the highest level of care and compassion to our residents
  • Must be familiar with Quality Measures. Able to effectively lead the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) team
  • Develop and maintain census. Promote and represent the SNF in the community to ensure favorable public relations.
  • Facilitate accurate billing and collections
  • On-call availability
