Life Thrive Solutions is a team of mental health and wellness professionals dedicated to delivering integrated care to individuals from diverse backgrounds in a private practice setting. We strive to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients by providing compassionate care and professional support.
Role:
We are looking for a compassionate outpatient psychotherapist to join our team as either a W-2 employee or 1099 contractor. The candidate will offer in-office and virtual individual and group therapy, using evidence-based practices to support clients' mental health. This role involves knowledge of cognitive behavioral and trauma-informed techniques and working with diverse populations, including those with disabilities. Responsibilities include conducting diagnostic evaluations, crisis interventions, and developing treatment plans.
Duties:
Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address clients' mental health needs. Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to facilitate client engagement and progress. Perform mental health diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' psychological conditions. Implement crisis intervention strategies as needed to ensure client safety. Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with ICD-10 coding and Medicare standards. Engage in ongoing clinical training and research to stay updated on best practices and therapeutic approaches. Provide direct individualized support to clients, fostering a safe and supportive environment for therapy. Work effectively with individuals with chronic medical and emotional issues, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity in therapy sessions.
Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted Florida State License as LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT without any adverse legal records and not excluded from participation in any Federal health care program, including Medicare. Possession of a valid NPI number. Minimum of two years of experience facilitating individual, family/couples, children/adolescent, and group psychotherapy, with crisis intervention experience preferred. Proficiency in conducting mental health diagnostic evaluations, treatment planning, and clinical documentation. Knowledge of cognitive behavioral and trauma-informed techniques. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish professional and therapeutic rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. Highly developed communication skills, including active listening, verbal cues, and the ability to interpret non-verbal cues. Access to a private computer or laptop equipped with a high-quality webcam and microphone. Competence in utilizing and troubleshooting digital tools and platforms, including email, integrated calendars, virtual and video-conferencing platforms, electronic health records, and data security protocols. Dedication to ongoing professional development and the implementation of best practices. Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team setting. Contract position requires individual malpractice/liability insurance coverage of $1 million/$3 million.
