Full-Time About the Role We are expanding our services to include expert tree health care and are looking for a dedicated Licensed Pesticide Applicator to lead our new treatment division. This isn't just a "spray and go" job; we are looking for a true tree professional. When you aren't performing applications, you will be an integral part of our high-standard tree care crew, assisting with climbing, trimming, or ground operations.

Key Responsibilities Pesticide Application:

Safe and effective application of pesticides and fertilizers.

Tree Health Care:

Perform tree injections and soil drenching to treat pests and diseases.

Tree Operations:

Actively participate in daily tree work, including pruning, removals, and brush management (as a climber or groundsman depending on experience).

Equipment Maintenance:

Ensure application equipment and company vehicles are clean and in top working order.

Documentation:

Maintain precise records of all chemical applications in compliance with Utah state laws.

Required Qualifications Licensing:

Must hold a valid Utah Commercial Pesticide Applicator License.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years holding a pesticide license is required.

Physical Ability:

Must be able to lift 50+ lbs, work in varied weather conditions, and be comfortable with the physical demands of tree work.

Reliability:

Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are a must. Preferred Skills (Plus but not required) Experience specifically with tree injections (Mauget, Arborjet, etc.). Prior experience in production arboriculture (climbing or rigging). Knowledge of local tree species and common pests in the Southern Utah region. Why Work for The Tree Guy? Pay:

$20.00 - $27.00 per hour
