13 Weeks Guaranteed hours: 40 Responsibilities Perform thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history documentation. Administer medications and injections accurately in accordance with physician orders and safety protocols. Assist with complex procedures such as IV infusion, catheterization, wound suturing, and sterile processing. Monitor patients' conditions closely, recognizing signs of acute pain or deterioration requiring immediate intervention. Maintain detailed and compliant medical documentation within EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Epic or Cerner. Support discharge planning by providing patient education on medication management, mobility, and post-care instructions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, case managers, and therapists to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Ensure infection control standards are strictly followed to prevent healthcare-associated infections. Provide specialized care for patients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease in memory or assisted living settings. Assist in triage assessments for urgent care or emergency situations to prioritize patient needs effectively. Support patients with developmental disabilities or those requiring home & community care services.
