Medical terminology Full Job Description Job Overview Maintains proficiency and perform on a regularly assigned basis: starts IV's, administer medications and intravenous solutions skillfully and accurately. Performs regular and pharmacologic testing. Hook-up holter/event/MCT monitors and educate patients on use. Register patients with monitoring company and keep accurate track of equipment. Prepare and conduct ECG on patients. Telephone triage under the direction of RN and/or MD. Patient teaching is a large portion of LPN's ob and being able to identify and communicate issues with provider is critical. Review and reconcile all patient's medications. Assist the physician and APP's in their daily routine. Be aware of location of emergency equipment. Report blood work to patient per physician instruction. Individual must possess a current license, minimum of 2 years nursing experience in a multi-physician office setting. Have a strong background in cardiology or critical care. Must assist patients on and off scales, exam tables, treadmills and when necessary assist in lifting patients.

Pay:

$26.00 - $31.00 per hour
