Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. Your responsibilities will include assisting with patient assessments, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. Conduct patient assessments and document medical histories. Administer medications and monitor patients for adverse reactions. Assist with wound care, catheterization, IV infusion, and other medical procedures. Perform vital sign checks and maintain accurate medical records. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care services. Qualifications Valid LPN license in the state of Missouri. Strong clinical skills in areas such as triage, medication administration, phlebotomy, and basic life support. Experience working with diverse populations including individuals with developmental disabilities or Alzheimer's/dementia care is a plus. Ability to perform physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations effectively. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
