Licensed Practical Nurse (Evenings) - Crisis Stabilization Unit

A recognized services organization in Virginia is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an Evening shift opportunity with their team in the Greater Norfolk Area. Monday to Friday (rotating weekends)

Hours:

5pm to 10pm

Pediatrics Responsibilities:

Assisting with medication as needed Implementing and maintaining individual service plans Conducting ongoing physical and mental assessments Maintaining accurate consumer records Monitoring consumer safety Performing other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

1+ year of Nursing experience in a Mental Health and/or Residential role/setting Graduation from an accredited Practical Nurse Program Current Virginia unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Teamwork and communication skills Ability to work rotating weekends

Desired Qualifications:

2 years of experience with Developmentally Disabled persons Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare regulations Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) State Hospital or Acute Care experience Basic knowledge of Medication Compliance and side effects
