Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) working full-time, 60 hours per week, dedicated to providing exceptional patient care for individuals requiring trach management and complex nursing support. Your expertise in trach care and familiarity with advanced medical procedures will be vital in enhancing patient outcomes and comfort. Duties Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and physiological evaluations to inform personalized care plans. Administer medications via injections, IV infusions, and other routes while adhering to strict HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards. Manage airway care, including trach maintenance, ventilator support, and airway management techniques to ensure optimal respiratory function. Conduct specialized procedures such as catheterization, tube feeding, venipuncture, and sterile dressing changes with precision and aseptic technique. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Epic or Cerner to document patient progress accurately and efficiently. Provide patient education on medication administration, infection control practices, and discharge planning to promote self-care and recovery at home or in community settings. Support triage activities by prioritizing urgent cases, assessing symptoms related to infectious diseases or acute pain, and coordinating appropriate interventions in emergency or urgent care environments. Experience Proven experience as an LPN with a strong background in critical care settings such as ICU or trauma centers. Demonstrated proficiency in trach care, ventilator management, and airway procedures. Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia care including Alzheimer's disease management, or memory care units. Familiarity with

coding systems for accurate medical documentation and billing processes. Hands-on experience in long-term care facilities such as nursing homes or assisted living communities is highly desirable. Knowledge of emergency medicine protocols including acute pain management, level I trauma center procedures, and hospital medicine practices. Skilled in using EMR/EHR systems like Athenahealth or eClinicalWorks for seamless patient record management. Ability to perform phlebotomy, specimen collection/processing, suturing, and other invasive procedures confidently. Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology principles relevant to patient assessment and diagnostic evaluation. Experience working with children or neonatal ventilators is a plus but not required; a flexible approach to diverse patient populations is essential.
