Licensed Psychologist (New York)

Join our clinical team at skilled nursing facility! We have an immediate opening for NYS Licensed Psychologist to join our practice located in West Islip, NY.

Requirements:

Must have doctorate in clinical psychology, counseling psychology, neuropsychology, or health psychology Must have NYS license in psychology

Responsibilities:

Evaluate, diagnose and provide treatment to patients with varied mental health needs in a culturally sensitive, professional and ethical manner. Challenging issues that our psychologists encounter with long-term care patients include adjustment to change, compliance with care and medication, anxiety, depression, compulsive behavior, isolation and withdrawal, and low self-evaluation Collaborate with treatment teams and other related service providers to assure continuity of care Present in-service trainings to other clinical disciplines within the facility to optimize patient outcomes Benefits we offer: Flexible schedules, with no on-call, night, or weekend requirements Exceptional fee-for-service or salaried compensation.
