Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled therapist with expertise in trauma-informed care to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trauma therapy and a commitment to providing evidence-based interventions that address the complex needs of individuals who have experienced trauma.
Responsibilities:
Conduct trauma-informed assessments and evaluations to understand the impact of past trauma on current functioning and well-being. Develop individualized treatment plans that integrate evidence-based modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Provide trauma-focused psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing a strengths-based and client-centered approach. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and community resources to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients. Offer psychoeducation and support to clients and their families regarding trauma reactions, coping strategies, and resources for healing and recovery. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client sessions and treatment progress in accordance with ethical and regulatory standards.
Experience:
Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field. Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a therapist in the state of WA. Specialized training and/or certification in trauma-focused therapy modalities (e.g., EMDR, TF-CBT, Somatic Experiencing) preferred. New graduates are wellcomed. Strong understanding of trauma theory, the impact of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), and trauma-sensitive approaches to care. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build therapeutic alliances with clients. Commitment to ongoing professional development and self-care practices to prevent burnout and secondary trauma. Previous experience working in a hospital or clinical setting preferred Contract Payment Competitive fee-for-service reimbursement rates commensurate with experience and productivity.
