Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Licensed Title Agent to join our dynamic real estate team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the title process, ensuring accurate and efficient transfer of property titles, and providing exceptional customer service to clients, lenders, and attorneys. Your expertise in real estate law, research, and title processing will be essential in facilitating smooth transactions and maintaining compliance with industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in the property transfer process while working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive research on property records, including deeds, liens, easements, and other relevant documentation to verify ownership and title status. Prepare and review title reports, commitments, and policies to ensure accuracy and completeness. Process title documents efficiently using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) tools to analyze property boundaries and related data. Collaborate with law offices, escrow officers, lenders, and clients to facilitate seamless communication throughout the closing process. Ensure compliance with real estate law and industry regulations during all stages of title processing. Verify that all necessary documentation is complete before issuing title insurance policies or transferring ownership. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly, explaining complex legal concepts clearly, and maintaining professional relationships. Experience Proven experience working as a Title Agent or in a similar role within a law office or real estate environment. Strong knowledge of real estate law, title processing procedures, and industry best practices. Demonstrated ability to conduct detailed research using public records, GIS tools, and other resources. Experience handling title commitments, policies, escrow documents, and related legal paperwork. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously while maintaining accuracy. Exceptional communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, legal professionals, and internal teams. Prior experience in customer service roles that require problem-solving and clear explanation of complex information. Pay:
$70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
