• Part-time, Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensend Veterinary Technician to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and possess the skills necessary to assist veterinarians in providing high-quality medical care to a variety of animals. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures. Perform routine laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging, including X-Rays. Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient. Provide animal restraint during examinations and procedures to ensure safety. Educate pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and grooming techniques. Monitor patients during recovery from anesthesia or medical treatments. Conduct dental cleanings and assist with dental procedures as needed. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the clinic, including equipment sterilization. Qualifications Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician or in a veterinary setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, and husbandry practices. Familiarity with veterinary critical care protocols is an advantage. Proficiency in handling animals safely and effectively using proper restraint techniques. Experience with dental terminology and procedures is beneficial. Ability to perform basic grooming tasks for pets is a plus. Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients and team members.
