Responsibilities Clinical Duties:
Administer IV therapies under a naturopathic doctor Perform blood draws/phlebotomy when needed Administer IM injections Monitor patients during IV treatments Assist with patient flow and clinical support throughout the day Maintain accurate documentation and follow clinical protocols Organize patients' charts after intake paperwork is complete, take patients' vitals and room patients Administer intradermal, subcutaneous, or intramuscular injections; perform venipuncture for the purposes of withdrawing blood upon specific authorization; perform various naturopathic technical support services such as applying and removing bandages, collection by noninvasive techniques and preserving specimens for testing, assisting patients to and from a patient exam room or exam table, providing patient information and instructions as authorized by the doctor.Administrative Duties:
Answer phones and assist patients with professionalism and warmth Schedule patient appointments, maintain patient records and accounts, collect patient payments, and answer patient inquiries Comfort patients by anticipating patients' anxieties, answering patients' questions, and maintaining cleanliness and welcoming atmosphere of the reception area and exam rooms. Obtain revenue by recording and collecting patient charges, controlling credit extended to patients, and filing, collecting, and expediting third-party claims Maintain business office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies, verifying receipt of supplies, and scheduling equipment service and repairs. Clean and prep rooms throughout your shift Check patients in and out Answer phone calls throughout the shift Schedule appointments Follow up regarding prescriptions, supplements, lab orders, and patient requests Assist with general office flow and organization Support front desk and team operations as needed What We're Looking For Active California LVN license Strong IV therapy and phlebotomy skills Interest in naturopathic, integrative, or functional medicine Excellent customer service and communication skills Calm, kind, and professional demeanor with all patients Ability to handle demanding situations and emotionally stressed patients with compassion Team oriented attitude and willingness to help wherever needed Self starter who notices what needs to be done without needing constant direction Positive and emotionally regulated presence Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Comfortable using EMR/computer systems Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate genuinely cares about people and takes pride in creating an exceptional patient experience.
