Lifeguard Job Responsibilities:

Supervises swimming activities at OKCGCC and ensures that policies, guidelines, and safety procedures are followed. Warns swimmers of improper activities or danger and enforces pool regulations and water safety policies. Administers first aid in the event of injury, rescues swimmers in distress or danger of drowning, and administers CPR and/or artificial respiration, if necessary. Evaluates conditions for safety and notifies pool manager if needed Inspects pool facilities, equipment, and water to ensure that they are safe and usable. Supervises and assists in cleaning the pool & related facilities' equipment, assists with chlorine residual water testing using records & charts of the water tests, records of accidents, and adds chemicals to pool water as directed. Instructs and assists classes in fundamentals of swimming as needed. (Swim Team)

Maintains a healthy environment for fellow guards and is respectful of their own time along with other's time. Embodies what the culture is here at the Club & shows understanding of what We represent. Allows their Summer to be filled with purpose and other components that reflect this opportunity. Pay based upon experience and must be at least 16 years of age. CPR/AED certification.
