Duties Respond swiftly to roadside assistance calls, arriving promptly at the scene of vehicle breakdowns or emergencies. Perform basic vehicle repairs such as changing flat tires, jump-starting batteries, and delivering fuel. Use hand tools and power tools to conduct minor repairs and maintenance tasks on vehicles. Diagnose simple electrical issues using specialized equipment like an ohmmeter to test circuits and components. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to identify mechanical problems and ensure safety standards are met. Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and time spent on each job. Communicate clearly with customers to explain repairs needed and provide excellent customer service. Experience Prior experience or strong interest in automotive repair, mechanical work, or vehicle maintenance is preferred. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical testing equipment such as an ohmmeter is highly desirable. Knowledge of vehicle systems including engines, brakes, tires, and electrical components is a plus. Ability to read repair manuals and technical diagrams for troubleshooting purposes. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in various outdoor conditions. Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required for safe operation of company vehicles.
